چکیده

Lumbar degenerative disease (LDD) refers to the normal strain of body involving lumbar bone, ligament, intervertebral disc, thereby protruding slippage, spinal stenosis and other lesions. fusion surgery has been proved be an effective strategy for treatment LDD. At present, a variety methods such as anterior posterior have reported. This article aims review discuss reported strategies LDD related biomechanical studies analyze development significance finite element method (FEM) in biomechanics. To investigate influence different surgical on spine biomechanics from perspective provide reference selecting clinical strategies.

Demographic Characteristics and Family History of Lumbar Problems in Candidates for Lumbar Disc Degenerative Diseases Surgery

Background and Aim: Previous studies have reported the important effect of age, sex, heredity, and occupational status on intervertebral degenerative dick diseases, which are among the most important causes of low back pain. However, their results are not always so conclusive. This study was performed to investigate the demographic characteristics and family history of lumbar problems in patien...

Evaluating of the results of long fusion surgery in patients with degenerative lumbar scoliosis

Background: Degenerative scoliosis most commonly affects the lumbar spine in the elderly, resulting in facet and disc degeneration, leading to increased pain and progressive deformity. Due to the importance of the results of long fusion and the rate of coronary and sagittal correction of imbalance in patients with degenerative scoliosis, the present study was performed to evaluate the results o...

Fracture Mechanics Analysis of Fourth Lumbar Vertebra in Method of Finite Element Analysis

Objective: In this paper, finite element model of the L4 vertebra subjected to combination of compression and flexion loading in isotropic and anisotropic cases is investigated. Methods: In both cases, the vertebra is considered homogeneous. Also, the body of vertebra is divided to cancellous and cortical sections in anisotropic model, but the process is assumed isotropic such as isotropic mode...
